Hey, for the hoodies you have to fill the gaps around waist, hands and neck and theres also some clipping around waist area for the female. Headphone normals are flipped for both.
Thanks Yannakis, I will have the team review the feedback and make changes asap. we are going to prioritize the headphones. Is it possible to have the headphones approved and not the hoodies even though there are all part the same collection?
understood thanks for the quick feedback - was it only the hoodie shown above with the green headphones in question, or did all hoodies and headphones have the same issues?
any further guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Yannaskis - comment from artist on Headphones, please let me know your thoughts
it does look like the normals are flipped, but instead it’s the backfaces on the headphone strap that were removed to meet the triangle count. This side is always hidden by the avatars head.
Thanks for this feedback. We saw the hand clipping and have now reworked the weights. Will address clipping on Female figure in a dress. Headphone images speak for themselves! Should be able to resubmit in the next 90 minutes.
Hey Yannakis QQ: Can’t reproduce the headphone Normals issue in Builder, or get the avatar to create the pose in your screengrab. Looks like you are checking in-game or some kind of sandbox. Do you have any tips for recreating the issues as we fix the items?
If you open the collection and click these 3 dots you should see a “see in world option” make sure to switch to ropsten test network after selecting it.
Thanks Yannakis. We’ll add faces to the headphones, this will take us up to around 540 faces. The weighting issue on waist is a bigger problem for us. From your screen grabs, they seem to occur mainly when character bends legs up. We worked on hip and upper leg weights. Any advice, please? Many thanks
It happens when running was just hard to take screenshots while doing that. Id suggest adjusting to male and female waist height, weight paint the connecting part to just the hips removing any leg weight painting and uploading as male and female representations. Let me know if you need help on how to upload different representations
Yes, the current waist height is a compromise trying to get it to work for both male and female meshes. I believe it would help a great deal to have separate versions for male and female representations, but would that double the submission fee? Any pointers on uploading different representations most gratefully received
This is REALLY helpful Yannakis. Finally just got to see the items in-world, thanks for the Ropsten info. 1 final quick follow up: You mention: ‘… weight paint the connecting part to just the hips removing any leg weight painting and uploading as male and female representations.’ My question: removing any leg weight includes both weight for ‘Upper leg’ Vertex groups as well as ‘Legs’?
