Collection 'Normal Wear Boots' created by AwedJob is ready for review!

Does your item have an orange orb next to the name or a green one?

If it is orange, can you click on the “reset changes” button?

It will reset the item to the state in which it was published to the blockchain.

Keep in mind all the changes you did after that because you will lose them.

For some reason, the item has been deployed with feet hidden, that is why the boots are invisible.

Hopefully, by resetting it, you will see the hidden feet option in the editor and will be able to remove it.

Thanks for your continued assistance.

I am color blind and cannot tell the difference between orange and green. I will get someone to review the color of the orb next to the name. I’m fine with resetting the wearable since it worked just fine before. “hide feet” was never selected by me and it does not show as being selected so until now I had no idea how to remove that characteristic.

My wife told me that it was orange. She also told me that all the other orbs are green. I cannot tell any difference. I clicked on the three dots and chose “Reset changes” and I got this message:
06Oct2022 00
“The entire item is too big to be uploaded. The max size for all files (including the thumbnail) is 2MB.”

If I am resetting the changes and it’s reverting back to it’s original state why am I still getting this error message?

I booted to my Linux install. I get the same error message when I try to “Reset Changes”. The only good thing is that the boots show up in the GOERLI test network.

Yesterday I couldn’t even see this.

This is the wearable that is currently deployed in Decentraland.

I downloaded the thumbnail, image, and glb to check the sizes and for some reason they were uploaded with a size greater than 2mb.

The largest one is the thumbnail with a size of 1.1mb and the total is of 2.15mb

Is it possible to upload a smaller thumbnail and try again?

The size to big error when might be because to reset the item, the builder is downloading what has been deployed, and saving it in the builder, which checks that the files are smaller than 2mb.

Yes. I can upload a smaller Thumbnail. I tried three different sizes of thumbnail and always got the same message. I am not sure why when I tried to upload the smaller image, it still told me that I was over the 2MB limit.

I still can’t upload a new thumbnail. When I try to upload it I get the error. I can’t reset it cuz I get the file too big error. I can’t upload a new thumbnail bc I get the file too big error. I can’t fix this on my side.

I have re-uploaded the GLB and tried to upload a 300KB thumbnail and I keep getting the too big error message. I have uploaded the GLB and added no thumbnail. Every time when I try to save it or reset changes I get the too big error. Is there a way that you can just remove the thumbnail or reset the thing?

I have reproduced the issue using the files for the item currently deployed.

What happens right now, (which is not being explained in the editor and should) is that thumbnails are being resized to 1024x1024 (Line of code in case you are interested)

I’m jumping to conclusions here but maybe the thumbnails you are uploading are smaller than 1024x1024 so when they are resized, their size in bytes is increased, making the total reach the limit of 2mb.

What happens if you try saving with the following thumbnail?

thumbnail(1).png.zip (700.9 KB)

It has a 1024x1024 resolution so there should be no resizing.

That appears to be the issue. I have uploaded the 700KB thumbnail your provided. I got no error message this time. I just pushed the changes. Am about to view the boots in world - hope it works this time. Fingers crossed.

Showed up in the GOERLI test net just fine. Here’s hoping to have my sh*t kickers back on my feet again soon.

Hi @AndreusAs @AwedJob , The photo of the file is not transparent and the purple background is similar to legendary items.I don’t think it is possible to release the epic item with a purple background.

@AwedJob , please, make the thumbnail’s background transparent. @armannft_punks , thanks for pointing this out!

Copy that. I will make the change right now.

Here’s the new thumbnail with the transparent background.

I did not recognize the difference in color background. In the future I will ensure that the background is always transparent so that the correct color shows through.

Hey, push the changes, please.

Right. Apologies.

It would be most helpful to have some other indicator instead of a color change. I know that may not be your area. Some sort of text notification in the Collection section of the Builder. I’ll remember it from here on out though.

Pushed.
