**What is your name?** Lastraum **What is your primary DCL wallet address?** lastraum.eth **Where do you live (city/area & country)?** Los Angeles, California, USA **Why are you applying?** I’ve been a Decentraland maxi since 2019 when I deployed my first “scene,” and in 2020, I left a high-profile real estate position to immerse myself full-time developing inside Decentraland. I love speaking about Decentraland and all aspects of technology - from concepts, to current implementations, to future hypotheticals. I also love teaching programming and showcasing the creative potential within Decentraland. **What is your history with both Decentraland and Decentraland’s DAO?** I have been programming inside the Decentraland SDK since 2019. KJWalker and I were honorable mentions in 2019 for a game jam submission. Since then, I have formed one of the largest collective of creators inside the space, Last Slice Collective and we have been recipients of 2 DAO grant proposals. I have also worked at the Foundation and also as a contractor for the Foundation. **What skills, qualifications, and experience will you bring with you?** I’ve been programming since I started teaching myself in 2004, more specifically inside Decentraland since private beta 2019. I’ve created [Miniclip.com](http://Miniclip.com) games, Flash Games, Android Apps, iPhone Apps, blockchain dApps and contracts, and now I am fully immersed in Decentraland SDK. Last Slice Collective has built the most popular scenes for the biggest named brands in the world; and we have pioneered transformative concepts that are used daily inside Decentraland. **Please share the details of an event you’ve planned in the past.** - **What type of event was it?** An annual black-tie Gala supporting non-profit efforts in inner-city education platforms, with 1 volunteer event each month - **What was your role?** I was co-founder of the event - **How many attended?** 200 people each year for 8 years until Covid paused the event - **How did you define success? Was it successful?** Success to us was two parts: 1) People buying a $150 ticket to the black-tie event were ALSO showing up to the volunteer events throughout the year; While we raised most of the money during the “big event,” it was awesome to see those donating actually volunteering throughout the year. 2) We sold out tickets each year, including sponsorship packages totaling over $50,000 each year. - **Can you commit to planning at least 2 IRL events in your geographical area over the next 6 months?** Absolutely! **Provide links to any relevant social media profiles or other information that will help the community when evaluating candidates.** - [https://twitter.com/lastraum](https://twitter.com/lastraum) - [https://twitter.com/LastSliceCo](https://twitter.com/LastSliceCo) - [Decentraland Studios](https://studios.decentraland.org/profile/last-slice) - [Crypto News: You Can Order Domino’s Pizzas in Decentraland Now | by Markus Fordemann | Medium](https://hspapp.medium.com/crypto-news-you-can-order-dominos-pizzas-in-decentraland-now-1c66787141fb) **Provide a list of two references, at least one of which is in the Decentraland community that can attest to your character and/or commitment to Decentraland.** @Shibu @Roustan --- _[View the full topic](https://forum.decentraland.org/t/decentraland-ambassadors-program-open-call-for-candidates/20676)._
