It seems to me that an enacted governance can just be ignored and there is, as in the past, no accountability. Nothing states when there is time or if someone feels it’s not important they can choose to not do it. These are enacted governances that are not being followed.

The Decentraland DAO passed a mission statement in November 2024 requiring the mission to be published across all channels within 1-3 months and the roles of the Foundation and DAO to be clearly defined in all relevant documentation. Neither was done.

The DAO passed a proposal requiring all future grant recipients to prominently acknowledge the support of the Decentraland DAO on their websites, marketing materials, and relevant platforms. Current grant recipients under the Regenesis Labs program are not doing this. The position taken is that this proposal applied only to past grants. The proposal says “all future grant recipients.”

A passed governance decision is not a suggestion. The community does not vote so that the people executing on its behalf can decide which decisions matter.

Probably in a few weeks or months, gino will post here saying that everything is fine and give you some arguments to back it up.🤥

Well, it takes 10 times more effort to refute [bullshit](https://sarahwilson.substack.com/p/on-bullshitting-versus-lying) than to produce it.

_To ensure the sustainability of the Decentraland ecosystem through representative governance, efficient management of collective resources, and technical innovation._

Years 2022-2024: 14M spent by the DAO with little to show for it
Years 2024-2026: 1.75M spent in Regenesis [https://transparency.dclregenesislabs.xyz/](https://transparency.dclregenesislabs.xyz/) and now 2/3 new users to Decentraland come through the mobile apps they built.

Calling it “bullshit” isn’t a refutation. You didn’t identify a single false claim. You changed the subject. Brandolini’s Law is about the effort required to refute bullshit, not a license to skip the refutation.

And I sincerely hope you don’t simply publish those documents. They were examples, explicitly marked as drafts requiring review and Council approval.

Since we’re talking about what is actually bullshit, maybe explain this:
In 2020 Decentraland announced the plazas and roads — 13,026 parcels — were going to the DAO. On mainnet today, the 9,438 road parcels sit with the DAO’s Aragon Agent. Genesis Plaza and the other plaza estates sit with a Gnosis Safe that is not a DAO contract. Half that transfer happened six years ago. What happened to the other half?

Now lets talk about all the things the Foundation controls such as the client, significant platform infrastructure, trademarks, domains, and creator tooling. Meanwhile, a Marketplace where users can check out without MANA and a product increasingly built around Worlds which require no LAND, means the roads and plazas placed under DAO control are becoming less central to the product.

And the mobile success you cited? **That one is especially rich.**

That comes from " **old-DAO" funds** , back when the Foundation said it had no direct plans for one. Regenesis inherited it and kept building it with DAO resources. Now Apple compliance is pushing its economy toward in-app credits instead of direct MANA transactions.

So congratulations to the old DAO, I guess: \*\*one of the things it funded that actually worked may also be helping build a Decentraland that needs the DAO less.

But on that last part, I could be wrong of course. Im just sayin’.

Thank you SIR.\*\*
