Currently when you choose a name for a wearable or emote that contains emojis, they are visible in the marketplace. However, when entering the world and viewing a wearable/emote in the backpack, the emojis used are not displayed, possibly this is happening in the rest of the places. This proposal seeks to improve this small nuance that, although minimal, could be very relevant for some users.

I agree this small change should be made if possible but a governance proposal is not necessary as this request can be made directly to the dapps team on Canny. They have opened the feedback channel in the DAO discord and there is a forum where we can upvote and comment on feature requests of this nature.
