Currently this is covering back of the head, upper body and lower body causing it to be jutting out on a lot of poses. Can you scale this down a bit so it’s not so intrusive to the space around the avatar?
Possibly even closer ~

Sorry, this was intentional to work with the JTV wings. Other similar items such as the riffle and other sword on the back also stand off from the avatar. We would like to have it separated from the avatar to minimize clipping on other pieces. Also a sword is intended to be rigid, as in real life, so it would imitate normal conditions.
Hope this helps put things in perspective.
All good with spacing, can you fix scale/length to prevent issues with other users and spaces?

Still quite long and could clash with lower body and tails etc.

Thank you for checking this item out for us. We appreciate your feedback. A few things I wanted to address.
This item was shortened per your original request. It is meant to be a sword and if brought up to no longer be lower than the waist will not be astatically pleasing and no longer look like a sword.
We were sure to keep the sword off the back a bit to minimize any clipping with other “Custom” pieces. Mainly we want this to work as a complement to the Fallen Wings that are already existing.
We built with the mindset to:
- Stay within the build box
- Tie it to an item that is clearly represented in the thumbnails >50% displayed
- made to not clip with all preexisting “stock” or “default” items in DCL
- We did not make this with the intent to not clip with every “custom” wearable piece, ie. tails or lower body accessories that protrude beyond the swords placement.
- We would like this piece to be considered as there are many other pieces that are designed with only stock items in mind, therefore if we need to start building with other custom pieces in mind this can be a rather daunting process and next to impossible to account for every wearable option published at this moment.
Is there a way we can get another consideration on this piece due to the previously mentioned points?
Please see the example below where we are using it with the wings, and also displaying the messages on the sword “Welcome to the Metaverse”. By significantly changing the size of this piece it will diminish the vision behind it.
