Hello Decentraland community,

I’d like to share an MVP I recently built for **DAO and treasury on-chain reporting** , focused on **deterministic calculations, transparency, and audit-ready outputs**.

As Decentraland continues to support a diverse ecosystem of creators, contributors, grants, and community-led initiatives, **clear and trustworthy treasury reporting** becomes essential-not just for compliance, but for community confidence.

This MVP was built to strengthen that trust.

## The Problem This MVP Addresses

Many on-chain accounting and analytics tools are optimized for:

- Dashboards and high-level visual summaries

- Convenience and real-time monitoring

- Ongoing analytics rather than formal reporting

However, when a DAO needs to answer questions like:

- Can this treasury report be independently reproduced?

- Can contributors or auditors verify the numbers directly from on-chain data?

- What exact methodology produced these figures?

the answers are often unclear.

## Design Philosophy

This project was designed around a simple principle:

**Every reported number should be explainable, reproducible, and traceable.**

| Area | Typical Tools | This MVP |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Calculation logic | Black-box or implicit | Fully deterministic and versioned |
| Reproducibility | Best-effort | Guaranteed |
| Methodology clarity | Limited | Explicitly documented |
| Output format | Dashboards or CSV | Audit-ready PDF + CSV |
| Traceability | Partial | Full tx-hash-level traceability |
| Evaluation friction | Onboarding required | Single-address PoC |

## How It Works

1. Input any wallet or contract address
(for example, a DAO or foundation treasury)

2. Generate a **PDF and CSV report** that includes:

3. Every figure in the report is directly traceable to on-chain transactions.

The result is a report that can be reviewed with confidence by contributors, governance participants, and external auditors.

## Why This Matters for Decentraland

- Treasury transparency directly impacts community trust.

- Deterministic reports reduce ambiguity in governance discussions and grant reviews.

- Clear methodology helps align contributors, stewards, and oversight processes.

This MVP is **not meant to replace analytics dashboards**.
It is intended to serve as a **trust and verification layer** for treasury reporting.

## MVP Overview and Proof of Concept

A detailed overview of the MVP, including sample reports and methodology documentation, is available here:

If helpful, I’m happy to generate a **free proof-of-concept report** using any publicly available Decentraland-related treasury address, so the output can be evaluated directly.

## Looking for Feedback

This post is shared to invite **feedback, discussion, and critical review** from the Decentraland community.

In particular, I’d appreciate input from:

- DAO contributors involved in treasury or grant oversight

- Community members interested in transparency and accountability

- Anyone with experience reviewing DAO financial reports

Questions, critiques, and suggestions are very welcome.

Thank you for your time-I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

### Why This Fits Decentraland

- Emphasizes **community trust and transparency** , not just compliance

- Supports DAO governance and contributor accountability

- Encourages evaluation through low-friction PoC, not sales pressure
